Improper selection of antirust oil
The selection of antirust oil should be based on different antirust requirements and site conditions. If only one antirust oil has been selected by the factory, the antirust oil is used for different workpieces under different conditions (if a long-term antirust oil is needed, the antirust oil used between processes is selected.) Or often rust oil is not used, corrosion is very normal. Therefore, before using antirust oil, we must check whether it meets the quality requirements.
Incorrect use of antirust oil
1. Before using antirust oil, the workpiece is not cleaned and dried thoroughly.
It is very important to clean and dry the surface of metal workpiece before coating antirust oil, otherwise the effect will be greatly reduced. When the workpiece is cleaned, degreased and checked before oiling after drying, film gloves shall be worn instead of hand or dirty gloves.

2. Poor coating.
If the antirust oil is not used properly, it can not play its due effect. If the antirust oil is hot dip coating, the control temperature is very important, generally should be controlled at 65 ℃ to 95 ℃. For large workpieces, they should stay in the dip coating container for a period of time, otherwise the coating suddenly condensed is too thick and easy to slide, and the whole workpieces should be submerged. If solvent diluted antirust oil is used, it should be kept for a period of time after immersion coating, so that the solvent can be fully volatilized before packaging.
3. Poor packaging
The film of hard antirust oil has good toughness, and there is no need to pack it. However, in case of serious collision, wrapping paper such as wax paper should be used for protection. Oil film antirust oil can not withstand friction and pressure, therefore, care should be taken not to make it suffer from collision. During the operation of oiling, the oil should first be allowed to drain and dry, and then the packaging materials (various packaging paper, plastic film, etc.) should be used for packaging protection. Especially when using the VCI, if the package is not good, the VCI will leak out and cause corrosion. The backing material used should also be carefully selected to ensure that it will not cause corrosion.
